"Not impressed at all"
I knew quickly these shoes weren’t for me. They just didn’t feel right, my snap judgment was that they weren’t worth keeping. Definitely won’t be buying them again.

"I should’ve known better than to trust these on wet pavement"
I really wanted to like these, but the soles were way too slippery once the sidewalk was even a little wet. I slipped twice just walking on normal pavement, which was frustrating. Maybe I’m partly to blame for assuming they’d have decent grip, but I definitely won’t be wearing them on rainy days again.

"Stitching is decent, thankfully"
The stitching on my boots actually looks solid overall. There is one tiny loose thread, which is a bit annoying, but so far it seems fine.

"Comfortable enough, but my feet get too warm"
I bought a pair of Hi-Tec walking shoes and they fit well, so I was hopeful at first. I still have the email receipt from when I ordered them, and I expected them to be a bit better for outdoor use. After about an hour of walking, my feet start getting really hot and sweaty, which makes them uncomfortable. They’re not awful shoes, but the breathability just isn’t great.

I ordered these from hi-tec.com because the photos reminded me of an old pair of dark green hiking shoes my dad used to have, and I really liked that look. But when they arrived, the color was nothing like the pictures. In normal light they looked more like a dull grey-green, not the rich dark green I was expecting. The fit was actually fine, which made it even more frustrating, but the color just wasn’t what I wanted. The product photos really need to be more accurate.

"I wore these one time in..."
I wore these one time in light rain, and my socks ended up completely soaked. Like, it wasn’t even a huge storm or anything, just regular rain. Frustrating, honestly — I was expecting way better. Not something I’d buy again.

"Not enough support for my arches"
After just one walk, my arches were already hurting. The support felt flat to me, and it just didn’t give the comfortable, cushioned feel I was expecting.

I ordered from them once and it did show up fine, so I can’t say it was a total bad experience haha. But the site and the updates felt a little sketchy to me, and it took longer than I’d like to get clear info. I’m not exactly rushing to use them again.

"Warranty took too long and went nowhere"
I’m kind of in a rush, but the warranty process was frustrating. It took forever to get a reply, and even after I sent the photos they asked for, they still said no. The shoes were only a few months old, so that was really disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be buying from them again anytime soon.

"Pretty quick delivery overall"
I ordered from Hi-Tec the delivery was quicker than I thought it would be. My shoes turned up within a few days, and the tracking worked fine the whole way.
The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is because the dispatch email came through a bit late, so I wasn’t totally sure what was happening at first. But the parcel arrived safely in the end, so no real complaints.

"Exchange process was really frustrating"
I’m still waiting on my exchange, the whole process has been a hassle. I don’t expect everything to be perfect, but I do expect basic updates and a reasonable turnaround. This has definitely fallen short of that for me.

"Fixed eventually, but it was a hassle"
I had an issue with my order and, to be fair, they did sort it out in the end. The annoying part was how long it took to get replies, and I had to follow up more than once. I guess it worked out, but it was more frustrating than it needed to be...

"Ordering was honestly a mess"
Trying to order from hi-tec.com was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. The checkout kept freezing, and even though my payment went through, I never got a proper confirmation email. I ended up having to chase everything myself, which was really annoying and just not worth the hassle.

"Something feels off for the price"
I bought a pair of boots from hi-tec.com and, something feels off about the value. They looked fine when they arrived, and delivery was smooth enough, but after just a few walks they weren’t all that comfortable and the material started looking worn sooner than I expected. For what I paid, I thought they’d hold up better. I’ve had cheaper boots last longer, so I’m not sure I’d buy these again

"Fit was basically right"
I ordered my usual size and they fit pretty much how I expected. They were maybe a little snug at first, like just enough that I noticed, but after one walk they felt fine. Also, I’m always nervous about sizing online, so that was a relief. Overall I’m happy with them and I’d probably buy another pair.

These shoes looked really outdated to me. Kind of bulky, odd colors, and just not something I’d wear. They might be comfortable, but the look isn’t for me. The photos on the site didn’t help much either.

"I was disappointed with these..."
I was disappointed with these shoes. They looked fine when I first got them, but after only about two weeks the fabric already started fraying. The sole feels cheap too, which makes it even more frustrating. I expected better from Hi-Tec, an apology or some kind of acknowledgment would be nice. I don’t see myself buying from them again...
